Building and Construction Trades Leader Talks Pipelines

CEPI recently sat down with Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council, to discuss the importance of the proposed Rover Pipeline and benefits of affordable natural gas. Hager, who previously served as the business manager of the Heat and Frost Insulators Local 50, stressed the union’s commitment to responsible construction practices that meet or exceed federal standards.

Furthermore, Hager emphasized that once constructed, the Rover Pipeline promises to deliver a plethora of long-term benefits to the region by providing a reliable supply of affordable, clean-burning natural gas. Hager said that increasing access to affordable energy has already had a positive impact, noting that, “We’re seeing a lot companies starting to build and grow here in Columbus and Central Ohio.”
